The Company was engaged in the development and commercialization of fluorescence in vivo imaging technology platforms through research initiated by industry leading researchers and clinicians at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The Company's products included imaging systems and molecular imaging agents, primarily targeting domestically and internationally based research institutions and pharmaceutical companies. VisEn was acquired by PerkinElmer in 2010.
