The evolution of a great service...In 1996, Compu-Links was registered as an S-Corporation in Massachusetts. We focused on the built environment and assisted engineers, architects and utility companies in digitizing drawings.In 2002, Compu-Links, Inc. assisted Hopkinton Massachusetts in building a geographic information system (GIS) containing property information and cadastral maps. In completing this assignment, it became clear that there was a need for an application that made it easy for non-technical people to use the information that had been developed. We also were inspired by the fact that all of the information that we used in building the GIS was, in fact, public record and thus governed by public records law. In response, Compu-Links developed a desktop application called G.Wiz!© that delivered integrated information and maps in a user-friendly application. Soon after, we aggregated similar data for the towns in Plymouth, Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket Counties. Subsequently, we were enlisted as the tax records vendor for CCIAOR/CCIMLS, successfully competing against The Warren Group. For over 10 years now we have supported CCIMLS/CCIAOR. In 2007, we went online with RealtyInSite.com. RealtyInSite is now used by thousands of real estate professionals, appraisers, developers, and home shoppers sellers in Massachusetts every day.
